LIFT
Wednesday nights from 6:00pm - 8:15pm
LIFT is our junior high large group gathering that meets every Wednesday night from 6:00pm - 8:15pm in the Youth Activities Center during the months of September to April. LIFT is made up of many moments that are about connecting students to the jr. high community and to Jesus. Here is the flow of the night.
6:00 - We start the night at the front check-in area which gets you plugged in for the night.
6:15 - We open the gym, game rooms, and cafe for hangout time. You can enjoy basketball, Nintendo Wii's, Air Hockey, or just hangout with some friends while eating some snacks from the cafe. We have plenty of leaders to help show you around, answer questions, or to challenge you in a game of your choice. Just look for the people in the red LIFT shirts.
6:45 - We dismiss everyone into the main auditorium where we have moments where we worship God through songs, laugh through some crazy stage games, see a video that makes us think, and moments where we collide with Jesus and His Father, God.
7:05 - We dismiss everyone out of the hangout area to graded discussion rooms. There are plenty of signs to direct you to room with your grade in it. In the rooms we break into groups to do discussions, play games, build stuff, or just to laugh at each other. Our room leaders (the ones with those red shirts) will be in the same rooms each week to get to know you.
You don't have to be any one type of person to come to LIFT, just a junior high student. And LIFT is a great place to bring friends.
